Job summary

Platinum Dermatology Partners seeks a friendly Medical Assistant to join our Dallas clinic. You will support physicians, record patient histories, and prepare exam rooms for visits, ensuring accurate charting and smooth workflow.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or GED, MA training, and 2–3 years in a medical office; dermatology experience is a plus. We offer comprehensive benefits and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant training required.
• 2–3 years of experience in a medical office.
• Dermatology and cosmetic experience preferred but not required.
• Certified Medical Assistant preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to and from the exam room and prepare the patient for examination.
• Enter complete medical histories and current medications into the chart.
• Assist Physician/Provider by scribing notes in the medical record.
• Assist with setting up biopsies, excisions, sutures, and cosmetic procedures.
• Prepare and collect path/lab specimens and schedule follow-ups.
• Daily cleaning and organizing exam rooms and stocking supplies.
• Laboratory maintenance including cleaning and autoclaving instruments.
• Other back-office duties as assigned.
