Job summary

Platinum Dermatology Partners is seeking a Medical Assistant to support dermatology clinics in Plano, TX. You will escort patients, document histories, assist physicians, and help with biopsies, excisions, and cosmetic procedures, while maintaining clean exam rooms and proper supply levels.

Qualifications include 2–3 years in a medical office, MA training, and strong communication. Dermatology experience is preferred. We offer competitive benefits and a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant training required.
• 2–3 years of experience in a medical office as a medical assistant.
• Dermatology/cosmetic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and prep for examinations.
• Enter patients' histories and medications into the chart.
• Assist physician in the room and scribe notes in the medical record.
• Assist with biopsies, excisions, sutures and cosmetic procedures.
• Prepare lab specimens, notify patients of results, schedule follow-ups.
• Maintain clean exam rooms and stock supplies.
• Other back-office duties as assigned.
