Forefront Dermatology is hiring a Medical Assistant for a full-time role in Indianapolis, IN. The position supports dermatology visits by rooming patients, documenting vitals, and assisting the dermatologist with procedures.

Expect a fast-paced environment with referral to various clinic locations as needed. Certification preferred (CMA, LPN, RN) and proficiency with EMR and MS Office is required; travel to other sites may be needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of recent experience in a medical office is preferred.
• Must keep current on all state certifications, licenses and registrations.
• Willing to travel to other clinic locations as needed.
• Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office and EMR systems.
• Must possess organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work well individually and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and document vital information.
• Scribe information for the dermatologist.
• Provide post-op wound care.
• Draw blood and perform suture removal.
• Clean and stock exam rooms.
• Schedule patient appointments.
• Assist the dermatologist with procedures (photographs, biopsies, excisions, injections, etc.).
