Job summary

Forefront Dermatology is hiring a Medical Assistant to support dermatologists in a fast-paced clinic. You will room patients, document vitals, scribe for the dermatologist, and assist with post-op wound care and blood draws.

With duties spanning exam room prep to assisting in procedures, this role requires organization, teamwork, and strong patient communication. Travel to other Forefront locations may be needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of recent experience in a medical office in a similar capacity.
• Must keep current on all state certifications, licenses and/or registrations.
• Must be willing to travel to other clinic locations as needed.
• Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office and EMR systems.
• Must possess organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize appropriately, and work well both individually and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Rooming patients and documents all vital information.
• Scribing information for the dermatologist.
• Providing post op wound care to patients.
• Drawing blood and suture removal.
• Cleaning and stocking the exam rooms.
• Scheduling patient appointments.
