Job summary

Platinum Dermatology Partners seeks a Medical Assistant to support a busy dermatology clinic in Camarillo. You will escort patients, document histories and medications, and assist the physician with examinations and procedures.

The role requires 2–3 years in a medical office, strong communication, EMR experience, and a high school diploma. Excellent teamwork and professional demeanor are essential in this fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in a medical office as a medical assistant.
• Quality written and verbal communication with attention to detail.
• Strong phone etiquette and teamwork in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to and from the exam room and prepare them for the visit.
• Enter complete medical histories and medications into the chart.
• Assist the Physician/Provider in room with note taking in the medical record.
• Assist with biopsies, excisions, sutures, and cosmetic procedures.
• Prepare and collect specimens, notify patients of results, and schedule follow-ups.
• Daily cleaning, stocking, and organization of exam rooms and back office.
• Laboratory maintenance including instrument cleaning and autoclaving.
• Other duties as assigned to support the back office.
