Job summary

The Woodruff Institute in Naples, FL is hiring a Medical Assistant for a full-time role in a fast-paced dermatology and aesthetic care setting. The position supports clinical staff, helps prepare patients for examinations, manages documentation, and assists with injections and patient communications.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma or GED, certification as a Medical Assistant, and 1–3 years of experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or higher preferred.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant preferred or required by some positions.

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort patients to examination rooms.
• Prepare patient for examination or procedures.
• Record examinations, assessments and plans; complete forms.
• Assist with injections and wound care per physician orders.
• Send electronic prescriptions; maintain HIPAA and OSHA compliance.
