Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant.
• English proficiency.
• 1–3 years Medical Assistant experience (preferred).
• Associate degree or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and escort to examination rooms.
• Interview patient to verify demographics, medical history and purpose of visit.
• Prepare patient for examination or procedures.
• Record physical examinations and document assessments/plans.
• Complete lab slips and other forms as necessary.
• Assist with injections and wound care as instructed.
• Educate patients regarding procedures and medications.
• Maintain HIPAA and OSHA compliance.
