Zusammenfassung

QualDerm Partners is seeking a Dermatology Medical Assistant to support our team in Monroe, NC on a PRN/as-needed basis. You will work closely with providers to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality dermatology care.

The ideal candidate has a High school diploma (MA certification preferred), experience in clinical settings, and strong communication skills. EHR proficiency and confidentiality are essential. Competitive pay and a generous 401(k) plan are among the benefits.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• Prior experience as a Medical Assistant or in a clinical setting is desirable.
• Understanding of dermatology terminology.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
• Excellent organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with EHR and basic office applications is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Record vital signs and medical histories to prepare patients for examinations.
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures.
• Prepare instruments, equipment, and procedure rooms.
• Conduct basic laboratory tests and handle specimens for analysis.
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records.
• Coordinate patient scheduling and office communications.
• Educate patients about treatments, medications, and skincare.
• Keep examination rooms clean, organized, and stocked.
