Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; MA certification preferred.
• Experience as Medical Assistant or in a clinical role.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and dermatology procedures is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with patients and professionals.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination by taking vital signs and recording medical history.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures; ensure instruments are ready.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and assist with labs.
• Maintain confidential patient records per HIPAA regulations.
• Schedule appointments and manage office communications.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and skincare.
