In this role you will be the first point of contact for patients, handling check-in/out, scheduling, payments, and collecting insurance information while maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate brings excellent customer service, HIPAA knowledge, and experience with EMR/EHR systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of customer-facing experience.
• Dermatology experience preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA standards.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in a professional manner.
• Screen calls, schedule appointments, coordinate referrals.
• Enter patient demographics accurately when scheduling.
• Check patients in and out and balance payments.
• Maintain patient records and HIPAA-compliant communication.
• Assist other staff and support front desk operations.
