This role requires strong communication, accuracy with EMR/EHR systems, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical setting. Prior dermatology or medical receptionist experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a medical receptionist or front desk coordinator.
• Familiarity with medical insurance verification and billing processes.
• Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients in a warm, professional manner at the front desk.
• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments.
• Answer multi-line phone systems and respond to patient inquiries promptly.
• Verify insurance eligibility and collect co-pays and patient payments.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update demographic information in the EMR system.
• Coordinate referrals and communicate with dermatology providers and clinical staff.
• Manage patient flow to ensure a smooth and efficient office experience.
