Job summary

Elite Dermatology in Houston, TX is seeking a polished Dermatology and Cosmetic Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our River Oaks team, providing an exceptional patient experience from first contact.

You will greet patients, schedule and confirm appointments for medical dermatology, plastic surgery, and cosmetic services, answer multi-line calls, verify insurance, collect copays, and maintain EMR records with the clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow.

Qualifications

• Prior front desk/receptionist experience in medical or dermatology preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude.
• Familiarity with EMR systems and medical scheduling software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients at the front desk.
• Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments for medical dermatology, plastic surgery, and cosmetic services.
• Answer multi-line phones, respond to inquiries, and route calls appropriately.
• Verify patient insurance, collect copays, and process payments.
• Maintain patient records using EMR software and coordinate with clinical staff.
