Job summary

Forefront Dermatology is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support dermatology patients in our Summerville, SC clinic. You will room patients, scribe for the dermatologist, provide post-op wound care, draw blood, and maintain clean, stocked exam rooms while coordinating patient appointments.

The ideal candidate has CMA (or LPN/RN) training, 1+ year medical-office experience, strong computer and communication skills, and willingness to travel to other clinics as needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of recent experience in a medical office in a similar capacity is preferred.
• Must keep current on all state certifications, licenses and/or registrations to continue employment.
• Must be willing to travel to other clinic locations as needed.
• Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Record systems.
• Must possess organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with staff, clients, and visitors.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize appropriately, and work well both individually and as part of a team.
