Job summary

Forefront Dermatology is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support dermatology patients in a fast-paced clinic environment. The CMA will room patients, document vitals, and assist the dermatologist with in-room scribing and post-operative wound care.

Responsibilities include drawing blood, suture removal, preparing exam rooms, and scheduling appointments. The ideal candidate has 1+ year medical office experience and proficiency with EMR systems and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of recent experience in a medical office in a similar capacity is preferred.
• Must keep current on all state certifications, licenses and/or registrations to continue employment.
• Must be willing to travel to other clinic locations as needed.
• Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Record systems
• Must possess organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with staff, clients, and visitors
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize appropriately, and work well both individually and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Rooming patients and documents all vital information.
• Scribing information for the dermatologist.
• Providing post op wound care to patients.
• Drawing blood and suture removal.
• Cleaning and stocking the exam rooms.
• Scheduling patient appointments.
