Job summary

Forefront Dermatology is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our dermatology team. You will accompany the dermatologist, room patients, document vital information, and support a fast-paced clinic environment. The role includes scribing, post-op wound care, and basic phlebotomy.

The position requires 1+ year medical office experience and relevant CMA/LPN/RN certification. Travel to other clinic locations may be required; state certifications must be kept current.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of recent experience in a medical office in a similar capacity preferred.
• Certified Medical Assistant or Derm Tech certification a plus.
• Must keep state certifications/licenses current and be willing to travel to other clinic locations.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and document vital information.
• Scribe information for the dermatologist.
• Provide post-op wound care.
• Draw blood and perform sutures removal.
• Clean and stock exam rooms.
• Schedule patient appointments.
• Assist with procedures such as biopsies, Mohs surgery, phototherapy, injections, and prep work.
