Job summary

DOCS Dermatology Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide general clinical and procedural patient care under supervision. You will verify patient information, enter histories into the EHR, escort patients, and assist physicians during exams.

The role supports a large dermatology network across multiple locations; requires high school diploma, prior medical office experience, and HIPAA knowledge. Travel to offices may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior medical office experience preferred.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding preferred.
• HIPAA compliance knowledge required.
• Willingness to travel to Docs locations.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient information and collect medical history.
• Enter data into EHR and escort patients.
• Assist physicians, prepare exam rooms, and take photos.
• Phone prescriptions to pharmacies and schedule procedures.
• Perform phlebotomy, wound care, and lab specimen handling.
• Maintain supplies and inventory; complete nurse visits.
