Job summary

UCB is seeking a Clinical Account Specialist (HS) in Bakersfield, CA, covering Santa Clarita, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo and Thousand Oaks. The CAS will drive demand for dermatology assets, engage clinicians and office staff, and align with the Patient Value Team to deliver value for patients living with immunologic diseases.

You will analyze territory data, plan visits to key decision makers, and manage resources while staying compliant with UCB policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 3 years of direct selling experience to healthcare professionals in pharma/biotech/healthcare.
• Valid driver license with no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years.
• Must reside within assigned geography.

Responsibilities

• Own territory sales goals through planning and visits to clinical decision makers.
• Analyze territory data to build call plans and relationships with HCPs and staff.
• Maintain understanding of competitive marketplace and prescriber drivers.
• Conduct profiling, call planning, and review sales data with stakeholders.
• Manage resources including budgets and samples for opportunities.
• Coordinate promotional educational opportunities per UCB policy.
