Job summary

The Dermatology Specialists is seeking an Area Operations Manager to oversee 10 to 15 dermatology centers in a defined geographic area. You will own P&L, drive efficiency, and partner with the Regional Medical Director to align clinical and operational priorities.

Strong leadership and a track record in multi-site healthcare are essential. You will coach center managers, monitor KPIs, and implement standard policies to ensure a best-in-class patient experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in multi-site healthcare operations
• Proven track record of leading multiple practices
• Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting, revenue cycle, and P&L management
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Thorough understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance
• Experience with KPI tracking and data analytics in decision making
• Operations experience during rapid growth and integration
• Strategic thinker who can manage day-to-day operations and long-term initiatives
• Willingness to travel 50% to 75% within the designated area
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of 10 to 15 centers within the assigned area
• Own the P&L for the centers, including volume, staffing, operating expenses, and budgets
• Monitor KPIs and financial performance, addressing areas for improvement
• Provide guidance and support to center managers to optimize workflow and patient satisfaction
• Collaborate with Regional Medical Director to align clinical and operational priorities
• Implement company policies, procedures, and protocols across all centers
• Identify opportunities for revenue growth, cost reduction, and operational improvement
• Provide coaching, mentorship, and development to staff to foster excellence
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to drive growth
• Recruit, hire, train, and retain top talent to reduce turnover
• Coordinate with Marketing and center managers to build brand awareness and referrals
• Collaborate with Regional Director and leadership for regional growth plans
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
• Stay updated on healthcare regulations and implement necessary updates
• Perform other duties as required
