Job summary

UHA University Health Associates in Morgantown, WV is seeking an Advanced Practice Professional to join the Dermatology team. The APP provides high-quality, patient-centered care, coordinates with dermatology faculty, and delivers diagnostic and therapeutic services within scope of practice.

The role emphasizes collaboration with physicians, nurses, and staff, participates in education of residents and students, and supports discharge planning and follow-up.

Qualifications

• Dermatology experience preferred and applicable training.
• Certification by NCCPA and WV licensure eligibility.
• BLS and ACLS as required by department.
• MSPAS or related master's degree preferred for PA role.

Responsibilities

• Completes consults and/or emergent/evaluations.
• Orders tests or consults with Dermatology faculty following guidelines.
• Performs and communicates results of diagnostic tests.
• Discharges planning and follow-up coordination for dermatology patients.
• Documents plan of care and clinical notes clearly in medical records.
• Collaborates with medical and nursing staff to improve patient outcomes.
• Participates in resident and student education.

Master's Degree in Medical Sciences

Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies

Certification by NCCPA

Licensed or eligible for WV medical licensure
