The Advanced Practice Professional (APP) provides high-quality,patient-centered care as a member of the interdisciplinaryhealthcare team. Working collaboratively with physicians, nurses,and other healthcare professionals, the APP assesses, diagnoses,treats, and manages patients within their scope of practice andarea of specialty. The APP is responsible for deliveringevidence-based care, promoting positive patient outcomes,maintaining professional and regulatory standards, and supportingthe clinical, educational, and operational goals of the departmentand organization.

WVU Medicine East is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to joinour growing dermatology program within a large, multidisciplinaryoutpatient clinic environment. This position offers the opportunityto work side-by-side with an experienced physician in a collaborative setting that includes Family Medicine, Pediatrics,and other specialty services. The successful candidate will providecomprehensive dermatologic care, including patient consultations,diagnostic evaluations, treatment planning, follow-up care, andmanagement of both acute and chronic skin conditions.

The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical assessment skillsand a keen eye for visual pattern recognition, enabling theidentification and diagnosis of a wide range of dermatologicconditions. In addition to conducting examinations andconsultations, the provider will be expected to performoffice-based dermatologic procedures and assist in deliveringhigh-quality, patient-centered care. We are seeking a motivatedclinician who is comfortable working independently whilecollaborating closely with physicians and other healthcareprofessionals to provide exceptional outcomes for patients acrossthe region.
