Job summary

UHA University Health Associates in Waynesburg, PA seeks an Advanced Practice Professional in Dermatology (NP or PA) to coordinate care, perform procedures, and collaborate with dermatology faculty. The APP will participate in resident education, develop comprehensive care plans, and ensure discharge planning and follow-up for patients in the dermatology clinic.

Requires dermatology experience, national certification, WV licensure eligibility, and BLS; ACLS may be required at the department's

Qualifications

• Dermatology experience is required.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure by the WV Board of Medicine.
• National Certification by NCCPA.
• BLS certification required; ACLS at department discretion.

Responsibilities

• Completes consults and/or emergent evaluations.
• Orders additional tests or consults per guidelines and protocols.
• Performs and communicates results of diagnostic tests.
• Coordinates discharge planning and follow-up arrangements.
• Educates residents and nursing students and serves as a mentor.
