The University of Kansas Health System is seeking an Ambulatory RN Care Coordinator for Dermatology to support patient flow, coordinate care across visits and serve as a clinical resource in the dermatology clinic.

This role emphasizes patient advocacy, education, and safety, with responsibilities spanning pre-visit triage, in-clinic support, and post-visit follow-up to ensure understanding and adherence to the plan of care.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing.
• BSN or higher required.
• 2+ years RN experience.
• Preferred medical office experience.

Responsabilités

• Manage patient flow, triage, and direct patient care.
• Liaise among front desk, nursing staff, physicians and clinic manager.
• Collaborate with provider to set patient goals and outcomes.
• Provide nursing support to optimize patient outcomes and quality of life.
• Coordinate patient care across hospital admissions, discharge, and ER visits.
• Document assessments and treatment plans in EMR.
