Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System is seeking an Ambulatory Clinic Nurse (RN) Care Coordinator for Plastic Surgery in the Kansas City area. This licensed RN will support physicians, coordinate care, educate patients and families, and ensure accurate documentation in the EMR.

Responsibilities include patient flow management, triage, and collaboration with front desk staff and clinic managers to optimize outcomes and quality of life for patients with complex needs.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing (multi-state preferred).
• Active RN license with state board for practice.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient flow, triage and direct patient care in clinic.
• Coordinate care and communicate with physicians and staff.
• Educate patients and families on plan of care and safety.
• Document assessments and treatment plans in EMR accurately.
