Job summary

HEPCO, Inc. seeks a DER Interconnection Engineer to support procurement initiatives and engineering projects within our Power Asset Management organization.

The role oversees engineering and procurement activities for generation-related projects, including RFP/RFQ administration, vendor coordination, and technical evaluations. You will work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders, developers, suppliers, and customers to support generation projects from planning through implementation,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years of engineering and/or project management experience.
• Experience managing multiple engineering projects simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of project scheduling, project controls, and project execution.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple engineering and procurement projects supporting power generation initiatives.
• Coordinate procurement activities, including RFP/RFQ development, bid evaluations, vendor communications, and supplier selections.
