Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a Deputy Site Leader to assist the Site Leader in daily operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency at the site. You will help communicate goals, manage performance, and lead in the Site Leader's absence.

The role emphasizes teamwork, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across operations, safety, and customer relations, with a focus on developing future leaders within the site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3 years of leadership experience, 2 in a supervisory or lead role.
• Preferred degree in Business, Engineering, or Project Management.

Responsibilities

• Foster teamwork and ensure clear communication across the site to meet goals.
• Support the Site Leader in managing team performance and coaching.
• Promote a safety-first culture and conduct safety checks.
• Liaise with the Site Leader, staff, and external stakeholders.
• Mentor junior team members and help develop leadership skills.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and cost effectiveness.
