Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC is seeking a Deputy Site Leader in Illinois to assist the Site Leader with daily operations, safety, and performance. You will help communicate site goals, manage resources, and lead in the leader's absence, ensuring continuity of operations.

You will foster a safety-driven culture, oversee compliance and contract execution, monitor project delivery, and build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders while mentoring team members for growth and improved

Qualifications

3 years of leadership experience, 2 of which in a supervisory or lead role, with a focus on assisting leadership and contributing to operational success.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with Site Leader, staff, and external stakeholders.
Knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory requirements relevant to water/wastewater facilities.

Responsibilities

Foster teamwork and collaboration, ensuring clear communication across all team members.
Support the Site Leader in managing performance and coaching as needed.
Promote a safety-first culture and conduct regular safety checks or audits.
Mentor junior team members and develop leadership skills for future growth.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships and resolve escalated issues.
