Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a Deputy Site Leader to help run daily operations and uphold safety, quality, and efficiency at the site. You will back the Site Leader, lead in their absence, and help communicate goals and procedures to a team of professionals.

Candidates should have a High School diploma and leadership experience, with preferred degrees in business or engineering. Rhode Island license requirements and familiarity with water/wastewater operations are a plus; the role offers a

Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED is required.
3 years of leadership experience, 2 in a supervisory or lead role, with a focus on assisting leadership and contributing to operational success.
Rhode Island Grade T3 Water Treatment License is required with the ability to obtain a Grade T4 Water Treatment License.

Responsibilities

Foster teamwork and clear communication across the site to meet goals.
Support the Site Leader in managing performance and coaching.
Liaise with staff and external stakeholders with strong interpersonal skills.
Promote safety-first culture and conduct regular safety checks or audits.
Mentor junior team members and support skill development and growth.
Prepare for a future leadership role by expanding operational and leadership capabilities.
