Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Deputy Systems Engineering Lead to support SEIT activities on a DoD program element in Woodland Hills, CA. The role focuses on internal SEIT execution, leading critical milestone events and ensuring engineering processes are followed to deliver core work products.

The ideal candidate has extensive systems engineering and integration experience, proven leadership of technical teams, and an active DoD Secret clearance. Travel is limited to 10% of time as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM; 12 Years with BS; 10 Years with Masters; 8 Years with PhD.
• Understanding of systems engineering and systems integration principles and processes.
• Experience leading a large-scale DoD EMD systems integration and test effort.
• Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret clearance at time of application, current and within scope.

Responsibilities

• Support technical management and execution of a team of engineering personnel.
• Plan, execute, and close out program reviews and milestones (e.g., SRR, FDR, IPR, PDR, CDR, TRR).
• Ensure system technical compliance with the program SOW, system requirements.
• Support program Verification & Validation activities.
• Coordinate control and verification of interface requirements throughout the program lifecycle.
