Job summary

ManTech seeks a motivated Deputy Regional Manager to join our team at the San Antonio, TX location. You will lead a multi-site IT services team, overseeing desktop support, AV/VC, CAN management, telephony, and infrastructure tasks while ensuring SLA attainment.

The role requires strong communication with senior leadership, hands-on leadership, and the ability to coordinate hiring, training, travel, and operations to meet regional objectives. A TS/SCI w/ Poly clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Five-year track record delivering IT services (hardware focus).
• 8570 Level II certification (Security+ CE or equivalent).
• Current/active TS/SCI with Poly clearance is required.
• Willingness to travel as needed to support objectives.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with customers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and hands-on support to regional IT services across multiple sites.
• Coordinate with Senior Leadership to meet SLAs and manage resources within budget.
• Participate in interviewing and hiring decisions; establish training and operational processes.
• Submit daily operation reports and oversee project refresh efforts.
• Approve travel requests and coordinate with government officials for support.
• Serve as Alternate POC for regional customer concerns and manage on-call rosters.
• Track productivity, onboard new employees, and enforce compliance standards.
• Set performance goals and provide feedback to subcontractors supporting the region.
• Maintain close collaboration with customers and senior ManTech management.

Job description

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Deputy Regional Manager to join our team at our San Antonio TX Location.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

• The Deputy Regional Manager is responsible for aiding in the management and hands-on support as needed to all activities within the region, by providing leadership and direction to a multi-faceted team of technicians providing IT support to multiple sites in these service categories, but not limited to: Desktop support, AVMM\\VTC, CAN management, telephony, TV services, cabling/infrastructure, patch management in a thin/thick client/laptop environment, and break/fix efforts with associated Service Level Agreements for completion times.
• This role will require close coordination with Senior Leadership, and more so, in the absence of the Regional Manager to support the development and maintenance of operational processes and the ability to manage resources to meet Service Level Agreements and maintain budget objectives.
• Participates in interview, contributing to hiring decisions, enforcing work roles, and establishing both training and operational processes to ensure adequate human resources to meet the challenges of the region.
• May submits regular reports on daily operations, refresh efforts, and project management and delivers or oversees training to maintain adequate human resources to meet regional challenges.
• Submits and approves travel requests, to support regional needs and coordinates with government officials to present or clarify support requirements.
• Serves as the Alternate POC to address regional customer concerns, publishes work schedules and on-call rosters and collaborates with other Regional Managers to pool resources as needed.
• Tracks productivity to determine worker or process weaknesses, onboards new employees and enforces compliance standards for both the customer and ManTech.
• Sets goals and evaluate employee performance and provides direct and indirect feedback to subcontractors temporarily assigned to the region, as required.
• Provides close communication and collaboration with customers, senior leaders, and other ManTech management personnel.

Minimum Qualifications

• Five years’ experience delivering IT services (primarily hardware)
• Able to support travel as needed to support operational objectives. Travel opportunities available as desired in support of wider program objectives, and learning in other areas of program support may be available
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to interface with the customer daily and explain complex technical topics to both internal and external customers with ease.
• Must have a 8570 Level II certification, such as Security+ CE

Preferred Qualifications

• Five years of hands-on hardware deployment experience supporting network, end-user, conference room and other IT services

Clearance Requirements

• Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/ Poly

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer
• The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
