Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Deputy Project Manager to support day-to-day management of the Business Process Improvement Program, coordinating Agile workstreams, deliverables, stakeholder engagement, and risk management.

This role will manage schedules, staffing plans, action trackers, and executive reporting for multiple concurrent initiatives, with on-site work in Washington, DC and Tyson's Corner, VA. PMP/SAFe certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Information Systems, or related field.
• Seven (7) years IT experience is required.
• Five (5) years of project management experience.
• Experience supporting business process improvement or modernization projects.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management best practices.
• Experience using Jira, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day management of the Business Process Improvement Program and Agile workstreams.
• Coordinate deliverables, stakeholder engagement, resource planning, risk management, and performance tracking.
• Serve as the Project Manager's alternate and help ensure successful delivery across multiple initiatives.
• Manage schedules, milestones, deliverables, and resource assignments; maintain project plans and RAID logs.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and sprint planning; coordinate governance and leadership briefings.
