Job Description:

C2 Labs is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Program Manager to support the Program Manager in overseeing all aspects of contract performance for key initiatives. The Deputy Program Manager will work closely with the Program Manager to provide executive leadership, liaise with CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services) leadership, and ensure strategic alignment across various workstreams.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Program Manager in overseeing all contract performance, ensuring adherence to contractual requirements and project deliverables.
  • Support the Program Manager in providing executive leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Assist the Program Manager in serving as a point of contact for CMS leadership, maintaining open and effective communication.
  • Support the Program Manager in ensuring strategic alignment across all workstreams, ensuring that projects contribute to overall program goals and objectives.
  • Assist in the development and management of project plans, budgets, and timelines, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, proactively addressing potential issues that could impact project success.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, team members, and vendors.
  • Monitor project performance and assist in providing regular reports to stakeholders.
  • Champion continuous improvement efforts, identifying opportunities to enhance project management processes and methodologies.
  • Act as the Program Manager in their absence.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of experience in program or project management, with a proven track record of success.
  • PMP or PMP-ACP certification preferred.
  • Experience working with government clients, particularly CMS, is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
