Job description

Program Manager – FTTH Deployment

We are seeking a Program Manager to oversee multiple Fiber-To-The-Home projects. This is a long-term contract position with a remote work arrangement, requiring occasional meetings in the market. Preference is given to candidates with experience in Ohio. We seek an innovative thinker skilled in best practices, with strong knowledge of OSP Engineering and Construction.

Role:
In this role, you will create and track best practices, organize departmental workflows, monitor progress, deliver reports, ensure departmental compliance, and drive FTTH deployments.
You should have experience with creating workflows (Visio), work breakdown structures, and developing policies and procedures. A well-rounded background in large telecommunications projects is essential.
You will also be responsible for developing and tracking KPIs for individuals and teams, managing project teams across multiple groups, and ensuring project completion according to timelines and policies.

• Advanced knowledge of telecommunications/FTTx project management – Construction and Engineering.
• Experience with FTTx builds, including regulatory and permitting processes.
• Ability to read blueprints and diagnose workflow problems.
• Ability to interpret financial metrics and address financial issues.
• Customer service orientation and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to manage multiple data streams.
• Knowledge of construction/engineering services: Telco, power, FTTx.
• Effective communication across service groups and with customers.
