Green Expert Technology Inc. (GreenXT) is seeking a Deputy Program Manager to support our Navy customer in Washington, DC.

This role demands extensive DoD/Navy program management experience, leadership, and a clear understanding of contractual and financial controls. Responsibilities include assisting the prime contract program manager, managing budgets, staffing, risk, and reporting, and ensuring effective stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of program/project management in DoD or Navy Acquisition.
• 15+ years of experience in DoD/U.S. Navy program management or related government/industry management.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience and leadership capability.

Responsibilities

• Assist and act on behalf of the prime contract program manager for a Navy Program Office contract.
• Handle contractual matters including financial management, personnel management, stakeholder management and communication, risk and quality management, deliverable management, and reporting.
• Assist with program budget and staffing requirements; manage task instruction and program changes.
• Support project supervisors, controllers, subcontractor relationships, and customer expectations; facilitate kickoff and review meetings.
• Review Contract Data Requirements, technical/status reports, and invoices; provide weekly status reports and KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all contractual matters including Financial management, personnel management, stakeholder management and communication, risk and quality management, deliverable management, and internal and external reporting

Requirements

• Active DoD Secret Level Security Clearance is required for this position

Education and Experience Requirements

• BS in Engineering, Business Degree or Sciences preferred
• 10 years program/project management in DOD or Navy Acquisition
• 15 years of experience in DOD/U.S. Navy program management, Government technical management, or Industry business management
• 2 years Supervisory experience
• Experience communicating with Senior Level executives such as those in the Senior Executive Service
• Navy contract management experience preferred
