Job Description

Oversee all aspects of the program, leading a team, analyzing new and complex program-related problems, and creating innovative solutions involving schedule, technology, methodology, tools, solution components, and financial management. Successfully complete formal training in conducting suitability adjudications supporting suitability and fitness decisions in compliance with National Training Standards established by OPM. Conduct Essentials of Suitability Adjudications training as provided by OPM. Develop and implement training programs/briefings for subordinates and senior leadership. Draft policies and standard operating procedures for personnel security operations, including security and suitability for program adaptation and adoption. Prepare annual assessment reports detailing operational efficiencies, identifying inefficiencies with mitigation plans, and supporting program improvement strategies with both long-term and short-term milestones. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Analyze organizational program operations, identify areas for improvement, and recommend effective solutions.

A minimum of 8 years of experience in personnel security and suitability adjudication, including case processing and workflow management, rendering suitability and fitness recommendations, and program management. Of these, at least 3 years must be as a program manager supervising individuals responsible for suitability and fitness recommendations. Must possess a favorably adjudicated background investigation completed within the last five years at the BI, Tier 4 level or SSBI, Tier 5 level, and be able to maintain this favorable status throughout employment.

Qualifications

TS Security Clearance is required.
