Job summary

Deputy PMO Lead – US, Ohio – Initial 12-Month Contract – Life Sciences

We’re supporting a major new-build facility in Ohio, a multi-billion-dollar investment designed to push the boundaries of science and engineering. We’re looking for a Deputy PMO Lead to support this project and help deliver this world-class program.

What You’ll Deliver

• Run the day-to-day operations of the PMO, ensuring the team executes against the improvement plan, meets deadlines, and delivers PMO services to the program
• Work with the PCO, who owns and governs the IMS process across all project nodes including maintenance and integration of Primavera P6 Level 3 and Level 4 schedules, to ensure the process is running effectively
• Identify and resolve cross-workstream conflicts before they reach the PMO Lead, serving as the first point of escalation from workstream leads
• Own the PMO reporting calendar, ensuring the executive pack, program report, and functional status reports are published on schedule

What you’ll need:

• Extensive progressive programme, project or PMO leadership experience within major capital-project environments, including direct responsibility on at least one complex programme valued above $1 billion or of comparable delivery complexity.
• Demonstrated experience operating as the senior operational leader or second-in-command within a programme-level PMO, with responsibility for governance, reporting, integration, escalations and PMO service delivery.
• Significant construction-phase experience on complex capital programmes delivered through multiple EPCM, general contractor and specialist delivery partners.
• Proven ability to integrate engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning/qualification, quality, operational readiness and project-controls workstreams.
