City of Philadelphia seeks a Deputy Managing Director for General Services to provide strategic leadership across city departments, drive policy implementation, and oversee cross‑agency initiatives in service of residents and the Mayor's vision.

This senior executive role requires extensive public administration experience, collaboration across agencies, and a proven record of delivering efficient, transparent public services while managing budgets and resources.

Formación

• Master's degree required or equivalent in public administration, public policy, business administration or related field.
• 15+ years of progressively responsible leadership experience in large urban government or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, policy development, and service delivery across multiple departments.

Responsabilidades

• Provide leadership and strategic oversight to assigned operating departments, ensuring alignment with policies and objectives.
• Develop, propose and implement policies and initiatives that improve public service delivery and governance.
• Represent the office in public engagements, legislative hearings, and intergovernmental forums.
