The City of Baltimore seeks a Deputy Director for the Mayor’s Office of Homeless Services with proven leadership in policy, grant management, and interagency collaboration. You will oversee senior teams, coordinate with city and federal partners, and drive programs to reduce homelessness across the community.

You will report to the Agency Director, supervise multiple divisions, manage budgets, and promote innovative service delivery, accountability, and strong stakeholder engagement in Baltimore.

Formación

• Graduate degree required in public policy, business/public administration, management, law or related field.
• Six years of senior management and policy-driven operational responsibilities, including three years in affordable housing and homeless services.
• Equivalency of education and experience acceptable.

Responsabilidades

• Develops and executes MOHS advocacy agenda with the Agency Director, including regulatory and sustainability policies to advance MOHS’s mission.
• Oversees senior managers and ensures coordination among teams (Emergency Services, Programs, Partnership & Policy).
• Represents MOHS at hearings, public events, and with council, federal agencies, and Continuum of Care.
• Builds relationships with elected officials, government agencies, service providers, and community partners to implement funding and advocacy goals.
• Monitors program budgets, allocates funds, and prepares complex narrative and statistical reports for leadership.
