Job summary

The Mayor’s Office of Homeless Services seeks a Deputy Director to lead advocacy, oversee grants, and coordinate policy with city and state partners.

You will supervise several teams, manage budgets, and build relationships with officials, service providers, and community groups to advance MOHS’s mission.

A master’s degree and at least six years of senior management experience in homeless services or related fields are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in public policy, Public Administration, or related field.
• Six years of senior management experience in policy-driven operations.
• Experience in affordable housing and homeless services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes MOHS advocacy agenda with the Agency Director.
• Oversees multiple teams: Emergency Services, Programs, Partnerships & Policy.
• Manages relationships with city/state/federal agencies and stakeholders.
