The New York City Police Department (NYPD) is hiring a College Aide to support the IT Fiscal Affairs team. You will assist with financial workflows from IT fiscal requests through final payments, including procurement and contract tracking, data organization, and ad hoc tasks.

This role offers exposure to budgeting, encumbrances, and cross-departmental data analysis in a structured college-aide program with varying hours.

Qualifications

• For Assignment Level I: Matriculation at an accredited college or graduate school.
• For Assignment Level II IT: college student with IT-related coursework and 9 credits.
• For Assignment Level III IT Fellow: student with IT coursework incl. 9 credits; selection by committee.

Responsibilities

• Assist with end-to-end financial workflows including procurement and contract vault updates.
• Clean, organize and compile cross-departmental financial data in Excel for division reporting.
• Complete ad hoc administrative, research, or operational assignments as assigned.
