Department of Citywide Administrative Services (DCAS) Energy Management seeks a Deputy Director to oversee in-house design-build energy efficiency capital projects for City facilities. The role involves guiding staff, developing RFQs/RFPs, and managing a portfolio of projects to optimize energy use and emissions reductions.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, building science, engineering, energy management or related field with 4 years of energy/capital project experience; 1 year in admin/managerial capacity.
• Associate degree + 6 years of experience including 1 year admin/managerial.
• High school diploma + 8 years of experience including 1 year admin/managerial.

Aufgaben

• Oversee in-house design-build energy efficiency capital program and portfolio management.
• Develop RFQs and RFPs with agency partners, reviewers, and contractors.
• Ensure DB projects comply with city design-build parameters and guidelines.
• Support financial planning, capital funding allocations, and annual targets for capital utilization.
• Provide technical guidance and QA for DEM engineers, energy analysis, and M&V activities.
• Liaise with agency partners and stakeholders to enhance collaboration and compliance.
