The City of New York’s Housing Authority division seeks a Deputy Director of Business Operations to lead HR, Training, and Logistics across AC&M, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and delivering operational excellence.

The role requires strategic, analytical, problem-solving and interpersonal skills, with proven experience in HR, training and budget management. Strong leadership and data-driven decision making are essential for success in this position.

Competenze

• Master's degree in economics, finance, accounting, business or public administration or related field with 2 years managerial experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with 4 years of professional experience including 18 months in executive/managerial capacity.

Mansioni

• Oversee three teams of HR, Training, and Logistics totaling 16 professionals and drive performance via data-driven management.
• Develop and implement HR and business administration policy and systems improvements with KPI reporting.
• Provide strategic advice on compliance with civil service laws, labor relations, and collective bargaining.
• Serve as the primary HR authority for the Division, including recruitment, compensation, employee records, promotion pathways and discipline frameworks.
• Develop tracker analyses to monitor the Division’s budget of $52 million and 375 headcount; recommend fund reallocations as needed.
• Manage critical databases and reporting tools to support HR and Business Operations functions.
• Ensure New Hires are trained and equipped for success in their roles.
• Coordinate implementation of Workday for HR services across AC&M staff.
