AHRC New York City is seeking a Senior Director for our Facility Management division. The role leads complex operations across multiple sites in New York City and shapes standards that ensure safety, compliance, and efficiency.

You will oversee budgets, vendor contracts, and maintenance teams, driving strategic improvements and cost-effective solutions while partnering with leadership and external stakeholders to support residents and programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in physical plant administration centered on facility management required.
• Seven+ years of related experience and/or training.
• Proven ability to write reports and communicate with stakeholders.
• Proficient with Excel and Word; ability to learn agency apps as needed.
• Travel to sites across New York City; valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of operating standards and program policies ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Establish preventative maintenance programs and long-range facility planning.
• Oversee budgets, cost reporting, and future building expenditures.
• Manage repairs, maintenance, inventory control and external contractors.
• Supervise staff, provide training, and ensure workflow efficiency.
• Engage with vendors, oversee bidding, and maintain contractor relationships.
