Job summary

City First Bank N.A. in Washington DC is seeking a Deposit Solutions Associate to support growth of mission-aligned institutional deposits.

You will prepare rate proposals, coordinate with Finance and Deposit leadership, and translate relationships into executive-ready impact narratives. You will manage the institutional prospect pipeline in CRM, conduct research, build pricing scenarios, and help position deposits to finance affordable housing, nonprofit organizations, and small business

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in institutional banking, deposit solutions, treasury or liquidity management, trust operations, or business development support for institutional clients.
• Experience supporting senior producers or executives with CRM discipline and pipeline management.
• Working familiarity with institutional deposit structures preferred.
• Experience at a CDFI, MDI, or mission-driven financial institution preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the institutional prospect pipeline and relationship portfolio in CRM; ensure timely follow-up and next steps.
• Conduct institutional research and prepare prospect profiles, including deposit potential and strategies.
• Develop and coordinate institutional deposit pricing proposals, rate scenarios, and yield analyses with Finance and Deposit leadership.
• Support business development by creating placement proposals, insured deposit structures, treasury solutions, and RFP responses.
• Identify and cultivate specialty deposit opportunities, including escrow, fiduciary, and structured deposits.
• Serve as liaison between prospects and internal teams for onboarding, product implementation, and execution.
• Translate deposit relationships into impact reports and narratives for affordable housing, nonprofits, and small business lending.
• Perform portfolio reviews to identify growth opportunities and market trends.
• Collaborate with Finance, Compliance, Relationship Managers, and executive leadership on large-balance deposits and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal policies.
