Bank First is seeking an Deposit Ops Specialist - Research and Adjustment to join our Beloit, WI team. This role supports daily deposit operations, core system functions, information verification, and exceptional customer service across branches.

You will handle wires, reconciliations, and regulatory tasks while collaborating with Fraud Squad and Deposit Operations coworkers to maintain accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in business or accounting and banking experience preferred.
• A thorough knowledge of bank products and services.
• Proficient use of computers, spreadsheets and various database systems. Strong Word and Excel knowledge.
• Knowledge or ability to learn applicable banking and/or regulatory policies and procedures.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Proven analytical and customer service skills.
• Effective problem solving and decision making skills.
• Ability to handle self professionally.
• Strong ethical focus.

Responsabilités

• Process incoming and outgoing wire transfers (foreign and domestic).
• Reconcile daily cash position and bank records.
• Reconcile CRS and FMS daily; investigate out-of-balance items.
• Process subpoenas, levies, and other requests from authorities.
• Submit federal and state interest withholding and escheatment.
• Review W-8 BENs for accuracy and renewals.
• Process foreign checks and check adjustments.
• Support tellers and customer service staff across branches.
