City of Boston Credit Union is seeking a Deposit Operations Assistant Manager to assist the department manager in overseeing daily EFT-related operations, including ACH, Wires, and debit/ATM programs, while ensuring strong member service and adherence to regulations. Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years’ experience in financial services.
• Minimum three (3) years’ experience in management or leadership role.
• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent working experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in processing daily activities related to IRAs, ACH, Wires, Share Draft processing, Stop payments, and ACH Disputes.
• Oversee debit, and ATM card program workflow including claim dispute evaluations and settlements to bring efficiencies to assure quality member service.
• Assist in monitoring data to recognize fraud trends and alerts with a focus on minimizing card fraud loss.
• Assist in managing the inventory of plastic cards for the credit union.
• Manage vendor relationships related to ATM/Debit cards, reviewing card disclosures for MasterCard rules, and monitoring performance reports.
• Handle escalated research and adjust accounts as needed; provide backup support for staff.
• Administer department tasks and workflows.
• Foster teamwork and open communication across areas.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and network rules; maintain internal controls and mitigate risk.
• Maintain knowledge of NACHA rules, Regulation E and D, BSA, NCUA rules; handle confidential information.
• Provide monthly department activity reports and verify time-off requests and labor coding.
• Ensure MasterCard disclosures comply with rules and Massachusetts regulations.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
