Job summary

Quorum Federal Credit Union is seeking a Deposit Operations Associate to support day-to-day deposit and payment operations including RTP, ACH and wires. This role emphasizes accuracy, regulatory compliance, and exceptional member experience in a back-office setting.

You will work in a hybrid model, primarily at our Purchase, NY location, handling transaction posting, research, and dispute processing while exploring process improvements and automation opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months of experience in back-office payment processing within a bank or credit union environment.
• Experience with ACH processing, wire transfers, deposit operations, or related functions.
• Notary Public commission preferred; depending on business needs, notary process may be supported.
• Exposure to process automation, AI-enabled tools, or RPA technologies is preferred but not required.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, analytical, verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs ACH, wire transfer, RTP, deposit and related payment processing activities including posting and investigations.
• Maintain assigned processes within service levels and accuracy standards; escalate issues as needed.
• Monitor activity and validate data using reports; participate in testing and enhancements.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve operational issues and improve service.
• Provide backup support for fulfillment operations, document imaging, mail processing, and notary services as needed.
• Maintain procedures and policy documentation; support regulatory compliance and risk management.
• Promote a positive work environment and stay informed on industry regulatory developments.
