Job summary

Quorum Federal Credit Union is seeking a Deposit Operations Associate to support day-to-day deposit and payment operations, including RTP, ACH and wires. You will help ensure accuracy, compliance, and an exceptional member experience while learning through process automation and AI-enabled tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred or minimum of two years of experience in deposit operations, ACH processing, wire transfers, payment operations, disputes, or related back-office banking or credit union functions.
• Notary Public commission preferred; if required, company will support notary process, training and fees.
• Process automation, AI-enabled tools or RPA experience is preferred but not required.
• Working knowledge of deposit operations, ACH, wires, disputes and transaction processing rules and procedures in a financial institution.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical, verbal and written communication skills; ability to multi-task.
• Strong time management and decision-making skills; manage multiple projects.
• Trustworthiness with high integrity and discretion.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Stable internet for video conferencing and screen sharing.
• Smartphone with current iOS/Android OS.
• Ability to communicate with coworkers and customers via email, chat, teleconference, and/or phone.

Responsibilities

• Performs ACH, wire transfer, RTP, deposit and related payment processing activities including posting, maintenance, exception resolution, research and dispute processing.
• Accountable for assigned processes, meeting SLAs and quality standards set by Management.
• Monitors activity, validates data, tracks transactions and escalates issues as needed.
• Identifies and implements process improvements to enhance efficiency, controls and service quality.
• Provides support to other business units and assists members with requests.
• Maintains procedures and documentation; supports updates and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborates with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues and support system updates.
• Promotes a positive, professional workplace and adheres to company policies.
