Summit State Bank is seeking a full-time Deposit Operations Coordinator in Santa Rosa, CA. You will perform centralized deposit operations to support a centralized model and enhance customer experience.

This in-office role requires accuracy, efficiency, and collaboration with branches and central operations. The ideal candidate has knowledge of deposit processing, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process centralized deposit operations activities, including return mail, deposit verification, rate updates, ACH/UIR exceptions, and digital banking escalations.
• Complete assigned work accurately, efficiently, and within established service and turnaround expectations.
• Support branch staff with operational questions, account servicing issues, and escalations.
• Review requests and documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Track assigned work, follow up on outstanding items, and ensure issues are resolved timely.
• Research and resolve deposit and customer account-related issues, escalating high-risk matters as appropriate.
• Communicate professionally with branch teams, internal partners, and customers when direct contact is needed.
• Follow established procedures, controls, and workflows to ensure consistent and accurate service.
• Serve as a resource to branch employees by providing guidance and support on operational processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows, reduce rework, and enhance customer and branch experience.
• Support new procedures, workflow changes, and other operational improvements.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
