Job summary

Norm Reeves Subaru Rockwall in West Covina, CA is seeking an on-site Full-Time accounting support specialist. You will collect daily payments from multiple departments, verify cash and deposits, and prepare daily bank deposits for armored pickup.

You will also record deposits in CDK, research discrepancies, and assist with accounting schedules while maintaining vehicle inventory records and related documentation in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive dealership accounting.

Description

Location: West Covina, CA (On Site) | Type: Full Time | Hourly Pay Range: $18.00 - $20.00

What You'll Do:

• Collect daily payments from Sales, Service, Parts, and Finance departments.


• Verify cash, checks, and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness.


• Prepare daily bank deposits for armored guard pickup.


• Record and process deposit transactions in CDK.


• Research and resolve discrepancies in deposit records and supporting documentation.


• Assist with accounting schedules, reconciliations, and other duties as assigned by the Business Manager.


• Receive and verify deliveries of new and used vehicles, ensuring inventory records are accurate and up to date.


• Enter and maintain vehicle information in CDK and other dealership databases.


• Process wholesale vehicle sales and purchases, ensuring all required documentation is complete.


• Coordinate and maintain accurate accounting schedules related to vehicle inventory and transactions.


• Process Instant Cash Offer vehicle purchases and maintain the associated records.


• Submit retail delivery registration information to the manufacturer as required.


• Coordinate and process dealer trades, including locating vehicles and completing the necessary paperwork.


• Maintain organized vehicle inventory files and follow up on outstanding documentation.


• Assist with inventory reporting, research discrepancies, and complete other related administrative duties as needed

What You'll Need:

• Previous automotive dealership experience is preferred.


• Experience with dealership accounting, cash handling, deposits, or vehicle inventory processing is a plus.


• Familiarity with CDK or another dealership management system (DMS) is strongly preferred.


• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.


• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling financial transactions and vehicle information.


• Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.


• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.


• Ability to handle confidential financial and business information professionally.
