Job summary

Istari Digital seeks a Deployment Strategist to own program outcomes on flagship federal projects. You’ll embed with a small forward deployed team, decide what matters, and drive demonstrations and tests that prove value.

You’ll serve as Program Manager on major contracts, coordinate with government offices, and protect engineers’ time while shaping growth and field feedback into the platform.

Qualifications

• Track record of owning an outcome with no formal authority over the people delivering it.
• Insider fluency in naval engineering and defense supercomputing concepts.
• Ability to brief executives and pair with engineers in a single day.

Responsibilities

• Own the program end-to-end: define success, select problems, order of work, and milestones.
• Embed with government and industry customers to understand mission and constraints.
• Serve as named Program Manager on major federal programs and manage contracts.
• Set direction for a Forward Deployed Engineering team and protect their time.
• Shape growth via option years, follow-ons, and expansions from delivered outcomes.
• Feed field learnings back into product and engineering to improve the platform.
• Travel to customer sites and program milestones as needed, typically domestically.
